Rick Hayes is the October melee champion with a record points advantage of +35

16 players turned out for the October melee and after three rounds there were just two unbeaten players. Rick Hayes was the champion conceding only four points, creating a club record of +35. There was a battle for second place between Catherine Black and Rich Rushton who were both unbeaten after two rounds and played what was in effect a knockout for the third win. Rich Rushton emerged as the winner with a 13-8 result and thus claimed 2nd prize, leaving Catherine in 3rd place with the best points advantage with two wins.
