Rick Hayes is the July melee champion

There was a turn-out of 18 for the July melee and after three rounds there was just one player with three wins – Rick Hayes. As the games were timed, there was the possibility of a draw, and unusually there were three players who won two games and drew their third: Rich Rushton with +16, Richard Collyer with +13 and Catherine Black with +5.
