25 players turned out for the February melee on a wet and windy day. After three rounds there were three players who won all of their games. Nouri Beladaci was the champion with an impressive points advantage of +29, followed by Rich Rushton on +21 just ahead of Jenny Lowe on +19. We played timed games to ensure a prompt finish, that ended with the unusual situation of a draw - involving three players who won their other games and were therefore also unbeaten – Alfie Potter, Catherine Black and Diane Emberton.
