Alfie Potter had great success in the National Singles Title Championship where, facing the top UK players, he reached the quarter finals. Unfortunately he was drawn against Dean Ashby, the England #1, which he lost with a fighting 8-13. He also gained selection to the squad to represent the Heart of England Region in the National Inter-Regional Championship in September.
