Heart of England Summer League 2019

The 2019 Heart of England Summer League started on 10th April with the two Stockton teams – Knights and Yeomen drawn against each other in Round 1.

The result was a perfect draw! 2 wins +40 each in a game of two halves.

The Knights had an easy pairs win by Alfie Potter and Teresa Bingham over Becky Rushton and Caroline Powell. In the meantime, Jeff Rand and David Kimpton recovered from 7-11 to steal the other pairs game 13-11 from Rich Rushton and John Emberton, so 2-0 to Knights. Yeomen triples then won an easy game and Rich Rushton won a tight singles against Alfie Potter 13-12, levelling the result at 2-2.
